Swartz Restoration, originally founded as Swartz Contracting in 1987 by Paul Swartz, began as a small operation in a farmhouse. Over the years, the company steadily grew, hiring its first employee in 1988 and expanding into new areas of construction, including building its first spec house in 1991. By 1995, Swartz Contracting completed its first fire restoration project in Middlepoint, Ohio, marking its entry into the restoration industry. Two years later, the company became an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau, reinforcing its commitment to quality service.

In 2000, Swartz Contracting moved into its first permanent office building, allowing for further expansion. Recognizing the increasing need for water damage restoration, the company launched its Water Mitigation Division in 2006. This growth and commitment to excellence led to a nomination for Small Business of the Year in 2009. By 2015, Swartz Contracting had outgrown its previous spaces and constructed a new facility to support its growing operations. In 2021, the company officially rebranded from Swartz Contracting to Swartz Restoration, reflecting its core expertise in fire and water restoration.

Today, Swartz Restoration enters a new chapter under the leadership of its new owners, Randy Green and Ben Swartz. With a strong foundation built on decades of experience, the company remains dedicated to providing high-quality restoration services, upholding its reputation for excellence, and continuing to serve the community with integrity and professionalism.
