This basic seminar will review some common mistakes made by insurance professionals in the analyzing and explaining coverage issues on first part claims. This course will address those common mistakes and suggest solutions for avoiding them. Topics include methods of protecting coverage defenses before investigating a claim; evaluation and negotiation strategies, and practical recommendations for dealing with the emotional issues involved.

This basic ethics seminar will review ethical principles through the use of case studies that are relevant to insurance agents. The case studies used will illustrate practical examples of everyday dealings with insurance companies and clients to give attendees a better understanding of the underlying ethical issues and values involved in the daily decision making process.
