A washing machine caused water damage in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Water spread across the floors in a few different rooms, finding its way into the basement. The flooring that was affected had only been installed two weeks before, and the water damage required a large portion of it to be removed! The water soaked down through the subfloor and damaged the drop ceiling in the basement.

Our team set up our equipment quickly, beginning the dry-out process. We removed the flooring that had water trapped beneath it, which allowed the subfloor to dry out. Then the affected ceiling tiles were removed, which also allowed the bottom of the subfloor to dry out from below. To speed up the dry-out process, our team set up a plastic containment area. This allows us to raise the temperature in the dry-out area, which allows our fans and dehumidifiers to more effectively remove water from the damaged area.

This project took one week from start to finish.
