Apartment Complex Burst Pipe in Ottawa, Ohio
In early March of 2022, we received a late-night call about an apartment complex burst pipe in Ottawa, Ohio.
We stopped out the next morning to assess the damage.
Water had leaked out and soaked three connected units in the apartment complex, saturating five total rooms!
Because the water pipe had been dealt with, our crew went to work removing the water from the floors.
We set up the equipment to dry out the floors and walls.
We used commercial-grade fans and dehumidifiers in all of the wet areas.
A few baseboards throughout the units were removed to enable the walls to dry out more quickly.
We drilled holes in the wall behind the baseboard to allow air to flow around the base of the wall, which sped up the drying process.
This apartment complex burst pipe took the expected 3 days to dry out completely.
No restorations were needed after everything was put back together.
