In the fall of 2023, we were called to a residence in St. Marys, Ohio. Someone had driven a vehicle into the garage…without opening the garage door first!

We get calls for vehicle impacts so that we can board up and secure the property from further damage. In this instance, we were also asked to help restore the property, which our skilled team was ready to handle.

We removed the damaged garage door, and then secured the property to prevent any theft or weather damage from making the situation worse.

Once the contents of the garage were removed, we began removing everything that was damaged. Because the brick face of the garage was damaged, most of the brick was removed and replaced with new brick. The interior of the garage was stripped to the studs, and fresh drywall was installed on the walls and ceiling after it was insulated.

A fresh “popcorn” coat was sprayed on the ceiling, and then the walls were painted and the doors trimmed.

This project was very quick compared to the whole home restorations we often do. We were thankful to help this family in St. Marys, Ohio, get their garage back to normal in just two months.
